Omar Velázquez has been elected to serve on the Advanced Placement (AP) Spanish Language and Culture Development Board. His service will have a broad and deep impact nationally. The Development Board, comprised of both educators and second language acquisition researchers, is responsible for reviewing, revising, and approving all items on the AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam. Managed by Educational Testing Service (ETS), the exam is given to approximately 175,000 high school students of Spanish each year. Congratulations to Omar Velázquez!
