This past weekend, Professor Operé was inducted into Sigma Delta Pi’s Order of Don Quijote, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society's most selective recognition. Professor Operé is the first to receive this award since 2022. He is only the third UVA individual to receive this honor.
