undocUVA April Speaker Series

In a time of multiple pandemics -- violence, racism, COVID-19 -- we can all learn from students, activists, and professors who are working for a more equitable and just world. The students of undocUVA, a support and advocacy group for undocumented students, families, and staff at UVA, has invited organizers, educators, and community leaders from around the country to come speak with us about their work in migrant, housing, gender, health, climate, and racial justice. Our first speaker is Greg Casar, UVA Class of 2011 and the youngest person ever elected to Austin, Texas City Council, now serving his third term. All are welcome to come to hear him speak this Friday, April 9th from 5-6 PM EST. Come join us!
