Race and Ethnicity in Contemporary Argentine Visual Culture: Two Talks

Please join us on Friday, November 5 and 19, from 3:15-4:30 (EST) for two talks with leading artists and activists in Argentine visual cultures. Our first talk features Wisny Dorce, a Haitian Argentininian film director who founded Argentina's first Black audiovisual production company, Black Existencia Films. Next we will be followed by a conversation with Daniel Cuello, an Argentinian Italian cartoonist and writer. Dorce and Cuello will speak in Spanish and Italian for 40-50 minutes and then take questions from the audience. English subtitles are available during the talk, and a recording will be available afterward.
