Screening and Talk-Back: "The Three Deaths of Marisela Escobedo"

Please join us for this unique opportunity to glimpse the gripping, tragic and inspiring life of Marisela Escobedo, whose assassination in front of the governor's office while advocating on behalf of her murdered daughter is captured in Carlos Osorio’s award-winning documentary, “The Three Deaths of Marisela Escobedo” (2020). On Tuesday, March 15, from 5-6 pm EST in the Latinx Student Center, students, faculty, and community members will come together for a small-group discussion with activist Laura Aragón about gender-based violence and restorative acts of justice.

On Wednesday, March 16, 5:30-7:30 EST, in Nau Hall 101, there will be a screening of Osorio's film, followed by a discussion with Osorio and Aragón. Join us online or on Zoom for the screening. Please click here to register.
