How Borges Wrote: Presentation with Daniel Balderston, Jared Loewenstein, Nora Benedict, and María Laura Bocaz

Please join UVA Press at 4:00 pm on 4/24 at Special Collections for a launch event and reception with Daniel Balderston — Director of the Borges Center and Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Modern Languages at the University of Pittsburgh — around his new book How Borges Wrote (April 2018; UVa Press).

Balderston will present his research along with Jared Loewenstein (UVA), Nora Benedict (Princeton), and María Laura Bocaz (University of Mary Washington), to be accompanied by an exhibit of selected Borges manuscripts provided by Special Collections.

The library’s Borges holdings are world-class and their Borges manuscript holdings figure prominently in the book, making it the perfect spot for a launch event. To learn more about the Borges collection, please visit the Special Collections website, or stop by!
