The Trans Memory Archive (TMA) collective is an activist collective comprised of trans and travesti activists. Work from the TMA has been installed in some of the most prestigious museums and important arts spaces in the world, including the Tate Museum (London), the Reina Sofía Museum (Madrid), the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano en Buenos Aires (Argentina), the Instituto Moreira Salles (Brazil), La Virreina Centre de la Imatge (Barcelona), and the Centro Cultural Kirchner (Argentina). This is the first time that materials from the archive will be presented in the United States.

Una conversación entre las miembras del Archivo de la Memoria Trans María Belén Correa, Magalí Muñiz, Teté Ornella Vega, Cecilia Estalles y Profesor Cole Rizki de la Universidad de Virginia. Los temas principales serán la praxis del archivo, la curaduría, instalación y prácticas de hacer memoria e historia en las Américas con un enfoque particular en el Archivo de la Memoria Trans y la posdictadura en Argentina. / A conversation with Trans Memory Archive members María Belén Correa (founder), Magalí Muñiz, Teté Ornella Vega and Professor Cole Rizki of the University of Virginia. Topics include archival praxis, curation and installation as well as history and memory-making practices in the Américas with particular focus on the Archivo de la Memoria Trans and post-dictatorship Argentina.
